This is the virtual version of the popular Chicken Boot Camp class. Class will meet on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm via Zoom beginning Feb 25th. Cost for the series is $109 per device. Registrants can share screen with other family members.   

Feb  25th-Week 1: City of Columbus regulations, breeds, coops, chick rearing. 

March 4th-Week 2: Chores, feed, health, chicken first aid, bio-security, predation and loss.  

March 11th-Week 3: The Laying hen, eggs, hen maintenance, winterizing, live demo Former students can audit any class for free!

Denise Beno has kept chickens for over 20 years. She is former organic egg farmer and has served as board member for the American Pastured Poultry Producers Association. Denise currently offers pet and farm sitting services and teaches classes in urban poultry in Columbus, Ohio.
